The click is stored for 90 days
When someone opens your link, the referral code is saved to a 90-day cookie in their browser. They do not have to sign up in that session. The code is attached to their account when they create it.
A referred user pays
When a referred customer makes an eligible payment, 20% of the gross checkout value is recorded as commission against your affiliate account. This repeats on every payment they make, with no expiry.
Commission clears a 30-day holdback
Each commission carries a 30-day holdback from the qualifying payment. After that it can be withdrawn as cash or converted into TwitterAPIs credits.

Program Rules
What counts and what doesn't.
- Commission is 20% of gross checkout value on every eligible payment.
- Commissions are lifetime for each valid referred customer, subject to the $5,000 per affiliate per calendar year cap.
- One referrer per account. The first valid code claimed when the account is created is locked in permanently, and it cannot be changed, transferred, or stacked afterwards.
- An account that has already made a payment can no longer be attributed to a referrer.
- Each commission carries a 30-day holdback from the qualifying payment before it can be withdrawn or converted.
- Cash withdrawals start at $25. Converting commission into TwitterAPIs credits has no minimum.
- When a payment would take you past the $5,000 annual cap, commission is recorded only up to the cap. Accrual resumes on 1 January.
- Self-referrals, duplicate accounts, fake accounts, payment abuse, coupon abuse, and existing customer referrals are not eligible.
- Converted TwitterAPIs credits are not withdrawable after conversion.
